I have to agree that I’m not a fan of the new UI. I’ve actually made it look more like the old firefox (menu bar, address bar then bookmark bar then tabs)… I have noticed that Javascript is a little faster but I find switching between tabs and scrolling to still be slow.

I use Chrome at home and Firefox at work. Can’t say I’m a fan of the new UI. For me, they’ve tried to make the menus and tabs look like Chrome but got something wrong along the way.

There certainly is a speed up in the JavaScript though. I ran the SunSpider benchmark and it’s slightly faster than Chrome now. I’m sure if you ran the V8 benchmark, Kraken or JSBenchmark you’d see the same thing. I’ve read somewhere that this improves the performance of Firebug which would be great.

Try looking up Ardendorfs Machinery Mart. They got some good amature lathes and profesional ones too, with accesories etc.

I got the same sms last night. I called W.G. Morgan. He tells me that if i want the money 2 be tranferred electronically, i should open an international account with a sum of R1050. I told him that i will call him 2moro 2 fynd out wat account i should deposit too. Im jst playin him @ his game.

and the police is really helpful(sarcasm) all they said was, don’t pay it. when i said i wasn’t asking if i should pay, i was reporting it, they said its fine i don’t need to

it happend to a friend. I phoned for him to a Mr WG Morgan cell number 0739184944. when i asked him to take the money off the winnings he said he was limited and could not do that… then he said something in the line of he is going to give it to some one else if i can’t pay and i informed him that 1040 rand is a bit much for courier, he then asked how much can i pay… at which point i said i was reporting it to the police and put the phone down
